We had a wonderful 2-week stay at Bridle Ridge! Sheri and Dave, and the camp hosts, were so friendly and helpful. We had no trouble getting our Class A in there. The trails were great right out of the campground. We enjoyed the stalls and all the wonderful hospitality. Thanks so much! We’ll see you again next time!

I love Bridle Ridge! Not only is it a clean friendly horse camp but it’s secluded in the ponderosa pines away from civilization, but only 15 min from Custer. I love the high country setting and privacy here. Definitely will be back and the riding is amazing!

Sheri and Dave are amazing people. Incredible customer service, amazing facility, absolute care for every camper and their horses. Fantastic facility that may be in the most beautiful place on earth with incredible trails surrounding it in every direction. Nearby city of Custer has amazing food, shops and Adventure Rentals Polaris ATV rentals to drive the 20,000 miles of trails when you need to give your horses a day off. You won’t find better hosts nor better riding anywhere.

I cannot say enough about this place! The owners Sheri and Dave were amazing! They are very kind and made us feel like we were at home. The barn is beautiful and very clean. They have a bath house which was also very useful. They invited us down to a little bonfire in their pavilion so it was nice to socialize and meet, what I feel like will be, lifelong friends. Dave also adjusted our horses after our long ride to Mt Rushmore and he did a great job, they loved it!

We just returned after a week at Bridle Ridge, what a great experience! We are not RV campers and stayed in their rental RV. The accommodations were perfect! The facilities are top notch, great facilities, and Sherri and Dave are very gracious hosts. There is a lot of riding and the terrain is beautiful. Great place!

Owners Sheri and Dave were more than accommodating to our group. We arrived to visit a friend that works at the camp and the crew went out of their way to make room for us. The horse camp is clean, spacious, easy road to drive into, pull through trailer sites, full hook ups, showers, nice stalls, trails right out of camp and there are trailers to rent to go to Mt. Rushmore trails or others around. We loved it so much we are going back in July from California and Idaho. This is a riders paradise. A definite bucket list!!!!

I was lucky enough to stay at Bridle Ridge last summer. Gorgeous property with wildlife around in a country setting. Close to town for groceries. Spacious full hook up sites with fire pits and tables. Brand new bath house. Covered airy stalls for the horses and tons of trails right from camp. You can see crazy horse from some of the trails. There are trailers available for rent for outside trails. It's only about 25 mins from the Mt Rushmore trailhead. Near Custer State park as well. Lots of activities for the whole family are a short drive away. Owners and staff are very helpful. Will definitely go back.

Charming Place to camp and ride. Ability to ride all different types of terrain. Falling stars, bugleling Elk, howling wolves every night. Fabulous hosts who take care of you and your trailer when you pull in after a long vehicle ride. Comfy, clean stalls for horses. Full hook up. Bathrooms/showers are charming, and very clean. Close to all the main attractions. Trailer available to rent to haul to any trail head not accessible from camp. We thoughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed over 3 weeks at Bridle Ridge and had the best time. All sites had Septic, Water and Electric. The barns are very clean. We rode out through the wilderness from camp as well as rented the bumper pull for other locations. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Custer is a short drive down the road and had a very nice grocery store and restaurants. I worked while there and had very good Verizon service. I hope to go back for another month in the future.
